Join Us for a Cambridge-Based Women in Localization Event

workplace-1245776__340.jpgJoin Language I/O Co-CEO Kaarina Kvaavik and the Women in Localization North East team for a discussion about building an inclusive product for global scale from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 at the Hubspot headquarters in Cambridge, Mass. 

The event is called,  “Building an Inclusive Product for a Global Scale: Internationalizing with empathy and diversity in mind.” The discussion that will ensue aims to answer the following question:

Diversity and inclusion are important goals for tech companies. So is building a product for global scale. Where do these two seemingly distinct goals overlap, and how can they complement each other?

Speakers include:

  • Nataly Kelly, VIP of International Operations and Strategy at Hubspot
  • Beth Dunn, product editor-in-chief at Hubspot
  • Libby Maurer, director of user experience at Hubspot

Women in Localization supports women who work in the localization industry. It is well known for sharing best practices in the industry through its 4,500 members. Women in Localization has 16 chapters in 12 countries. The North East chapter includes Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York and New Jersey. With more than 420 members, the North East chapter is the organization’s second largest chapter (the largest is the Silicon Valley chapter).The chapter was established in November 2015.
