Vote for Our Innovative Technology at LocWorld!
October 31, 2019
On Thursday, Nov. 7 from 1 p.m. to 2:15 PST, Language I/O Co-CEO Heather Morgan Shoemaker will explain how Language I/O’s technology is removing the manual processes that make MT so cumbersome and inaccurate as part of LocWorld’s Process Innovation Challenge (PIC). Language I/O builds technology that allows English-speaking customer service agents to provide customer service in any language inside the customer relationship management systems (CRMs) where they already work. Language I/O integrates with Salesforce, Zendesk and Oracle.
“Support chat messages, social posts and tickets are messy,” Shoemaker said. “Translating them in a way that allows your support agent to understand what the customer is asking has challenged neural machine translation for years. The Language I/O machine learning strategy is to pick the best engine for the job and then meet NMT halfway there!”
PIC is designed to showcase process and technology innovations in localization industry. Shortlisted innovators, of which Shoemaker is one, will pitch their creative ideas to the LocWorld audience. After a time-limited pitch, and with the clock still ticking, a panel of industry experts (aka the PIC Dragons) and the audience will challenge the candidates with tough questions. Dragons and attendees will then vote live for their favorite innovation and innovator to determine which innovations will go to the final round to find the PIC innovator of the year. If you’re going to LocWorld, come to our presentation and don’t forget to vote for us! For an entire list of PIC participants, click here.
All presentations will be held in the Regency 2 room as part of the LocWorld41 Silicon Valley Conference. If you would like to schedule time to speak with Shoemaker, click here.
