Language I/O Welcomes New CFO, Continues Positioning for Growth

As Language I/O continues hitting aggressive growth projections, the multilingual customer service software provider welcomes new CFO Fabian Lobera to its team.

“Every year, regardless of the political or economic climate, we hit our growth projections,” said Language I/O Co-CEO Heather Morgan Shoemaker. “But growth comes with responsibility and we believe Fabian will help to guide Language I/O through the next stage of its evolution. In addition to working within larger corporate structures on the East Coast, Fabian has served as CFO for SaaS and retail startups in the Mountain West where he successfully moved them through their growth cycles. As we capture a greater percentage of the multilingual customer service market, we look forward to benefiting from Fabian’s expertise.”

Lobera joins Language I/O as it prepares to officially announce a proprietary core machine translation (MT) technology.

“Language I/O is on the brink of further disrupting the multilingual customer support space,” Lobera said. “It’s an exciting time and I saw an opportunity to lend my skills in helping the team get there. The organization has strong leadership and serious machine-learning development chops. That coupled with the long-lasting and strong customer relationships drew my attention. Positioning for next-level growth will be a major focus of my time.”

That growth will take the form of operational automation and implementing systems to ensure that the Language I/O  leadership team has the tools and information needed to make great decisions for the benefit of Language I/O customers.

After graduating from George Mason University with his bachelor’s in accounting, Lobera spent the bulk of his career working as an accountant for private and public firms in Washington, DC. For the last ten years, Lobera served as COO/CFO of Pitchengine, a communication platform for PR professionals.

Lobera lives in Lander, Wyoming with his wife. He has two grown children and is involved in youth mentoring initiatives both in workforce development and with youth soccer refereeing.
