Language IO Expands East Coast Headquarters

It’s been a busy summer for the Language IO teams on both the east and the west coasts, but it’s been particularly crazy for the East Coasters who just moved into a new office in downtown Salem, Mass.

“We’ve been wanting to expand our office space in Salem for a while now, but the recent growth of our sales team has forced the issue, which is a good thing,” said Language IO Co-CEO Kaarina Kvaavik.

Located at 30 Church Street, the new Language IO headquarters is in a refurbished fire house that was built in in the 1800s1800. The second floor offices, which is where Language IO is located, used to be  a hay store storage for the horses that pulled the fire wagons.

The 30 Church Street location has several offices and room for expansion. The possibility for growth, the location and the historical significance of the building attracted the Language IO team as did the converted French doorsbarn doors on the second floor, which open the exposed brick offices to a balcony overlooking the building’s courtyard.

The Church Street location is right downtown near the Salem Witch Museum, the Peabody Essex Museum and—perhaps the most important landmark of all for Language IO’s customers—it’s also across the street from Turner’s Seafood.

“Turner’s is the best seafood restaurant in the city,” Kvaavik said. “You can bet that when we give our customers a tour of the area, Turner’s will be a key attraction.”

Not only that, but there is also a brand new brewery in the building—the East Regiment Beer Co.

The new address and contact info for the new Language IO East Coast location is:
